A freelancer is one person doing her best. Our SuperHelpers™ are trained in a meticulous system to ensure the same consistent cleaning standards each clean. Every helper is armed with at least 200+ hours of structured training, a stringent vetting process, and certification on a 50-point method, with insurance, legal employment, and a support team behind her. We take care of our team, so they can serve you better.
Can I keep the same Helper every visit?
Yes, you can lock in your favourite Helper’s schedule on a recurring plan.
Our most popular SuperHelpers™ can get booked up quickly, so the best way to secure the same Helper regularly is with a recurring plan.
If you find a Helper you love, a recurring plan lets you reserve their schedule for your weekly or fortnightly cleans, giving you greater consistency from visit to visit. You can also easily reschedule your bookings when needed.
For one-off bookings, we’ll always do our best to match you with your preferred Helper, but this depends on their availability and cannot be guaranteed.
How much work can my Helper realistically complete during the time period?
The amount your Helper can complete depends on your home, the condition of each area, and the tasks you’d like them to prioritise. A 3-hour clean in a well-maintained apartment can look very different from a 3-hour clean that includes multiple bathrooms, heavier buildup, ironing, or other time-intensive tasks.
Our Helpers are trained to work efficiently and make the best use of your booked time. We recommend letting your Helper know your top priorities at the start of the clean so they can focus on what matters most to you first.
For larger homes or a longer list of tasks, we recommend booking a longer duration. If everything cannot be completed within the booked time, your Helper will prioritise as much as possible rather than rush through the remaining tasks.
If you’re unsure how much time to book, it’s usually better to allow a little more time for your first clean. Once your Helper becomes familiar with your home and preferences, it becomes much easier to choose the ideal duration for future visits. If you need help, please reach out to us for assistance!
What do I need to prepare? Do I need to provide my own cleaning tools?
Yes. Please provide the standard cleaning equipment and supplies needed for the clean, such as a vacuum, mop and bucket, cleaning cloths, and your preferred cleaning products.
Our Helpers do not carry cleaning equipment between homes. This means they don’t need to travel with bulky bags or reuse the same dirty cloth everywhere, and they can work with the tools and products you already know and trust in your home.
For Prestige bookings, cleaning liquids are provided (pet- and baby-safe).
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not necessarily. You’re welcome to be home during the clean or let your Helper in and carry on with their day.
However, we do recommend being present during the clean especially for your first session. This allows you to guide your Helper, highlight any priorities, explain how you like things done, and help prevent any possible misunderstandings or disputes.
If you won’t be home, simply arrange a suitable way for your Helper to access your home, such as leaving the key with your concierge or providing clear access instructions in advance.
For security, we also recommend keeping valuables and important personal items safely locked away before each clean. If you ever have any concerns or issues, please reach out to us and our team will be happy to help.
How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
Our cleaning rates start from $21/hr, depending on the service tier you choose, plus a small service fee. Prices for different timeslots may vary due to demand and availability and will be reflected in your cart. Any applicable promotions are automatically reflected before you confirm your booking.
If you’re looking for a more premium and reliable experience, our higher tiers offer added benefits such as priority matching with top-rated Helpers, faster support, and more advanced training. With Prestige, cleaning liquids (pet and baby safe) are provided as well.
You’ll always see the full price breakdown before booking, so there are no surprises. Payment is made securely by credit or debit card, and you’re charged after the service is completed.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. There’s no lock-in contract. You’re free to reschedule or cancel your bookings, subject to our cancellation policy.
Recurring plans are designed to give you the convenience of a regular Helper and better value, without tying you into a long-term commitment. Weekly plans offer the greatest savings, while still giving you the flexibility to adjust your schedule when needed.
You only pay after each completed service.
How do I manage or update my bookings?
The easiest way is through the Helpling app, where you can choose your service, preferred date and time, cleaning duration, and service tier in just a few steps.
