Home cleaning for HDB flats, condos and landed homes

Helpling connects you with cleaning service providers for regular upkeep and one-time home cleaning. Choose weekly or fortnightly visits, or book a single session.

Think about the cleaning you want help with, whether it’s the bathroom, kitchen surfaces or floors throughout your home. Choose your session around that workload, rather than the number of bedrooms alone.

General home cleaning covers everyday tasks across your living areas, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Use the checklist to plan your priorities:

Manage your home cleaning with Helpling

Choose Classic for the standard checklist, Signature if you want priority matching and flexible task allocation, or Prestige if you also want cleaning liquids and dedicated WhatsApp and phone support. You still need to prepare cleaning equipment for every tier.

Home-cleaning rates start at S$21/hour for weekly or fortnightly bookings and S$24/hour for one-time bookings. For illustration, three hours of recurring Classic cleaning at S$21/hour costs S$63; adding the S$3.90 service fee gives S$66.90 before promotions or additional slot charges. The equivalent one-time booking at S$24/hour plus a S$4.35 service fee is S$76.35. These examples use the weekday, non-premium rates and fees observed in checkout on 3 October 2026, not a guaranteed quote. Some time slots add S$3/hour, and weekend surcharge notices may apply. Check your selected charges, promotions and surcharge notices before submitting; see our pricing page for published starting rates.

General home cleaning is for routine upkeep, not post-renovation work or a move-out clean. Appliance interiors are not automatically included. Use the relevant specialist service for those jobs, or ask your Home Advisor about an extra task before booking.

Need to cancel a session? Cancel through the website or app at least 24 hours before it starts to avoid the session cancellation charge. Later cancellations incur 100% of the booked service fee. Ending a recurring plan also has separate conditions under our booking terms.

Extra cleaning tasks and specialist services

Add ironing to your booking notes and provide an iron and ironing board. The standard package lists up to five pieces; discuss your priorities alongside the cleaning tasks for your visit.

Need help with the inside of your oven? Mention it when arranging your clean so the task, products and time needed can be agreed before the visit.

General kitchen cleaning covers the fridge exterior. For shelves, drawers and other interior areas, request the extra task in advance and check how to prepare your fridge.

Ask about cleaning wardrobe shelves and cupboard interiors when arranging your visit. Agree which areas need attention and what should be cleared beforehand.

Tell us which interior windows need attention and how they can be reached. Check the agreed scope before the visit; window glass and frames may need more time than routine surface cleaning.

Helpling is an online platform for booking home services. You choose your service and preferred session, manage your booking online and contact us for help. Your cleaning is carried out by a service provider, so check the scope and terms for the option you select.

Use the cleaning checklist to agree your priorities, and contact your Home Advisor if you have a concern. For Prestige general-cleaning bookings, the satisfaction programme offers a re-clean or Helpling wallet credit, subject to its eligibility and scope conditions. Report an issue within 24 hours of completion with photos and a description. Wallet credit is valid for six months and cannot be redeemed for cash. Submitting a request does not yet confirm your session. We’ll email you when the booking is confirmed. Check the date, time and service details in that message. If a provider becomes unavailable, contact us about replacement options rather than assume the original appointment will go ahead.

Please have a vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket ready, plus cleaning cloths and sponges, a toilet brush and a brush for bathroom floors or tiles. Prestige includes cleaning liquids; Classic and Signature customers should prepare them. Tell your Home Advisor before the visit if equipment is missing. Cleaning liquids being included does not mean equipment is provided.

We recommend being there for the first session to show your service provider around and explain your priorities. Discuss access arrangements in advance if you won’t be home.

Yes. Choose the one-time option for a single general home cleaning session. For moving, renovation work or specialist tasks, check the relevant service instead.

Choose weekly visits if you want help every week. Fortnightly visits leave two weeks between sessions, so consider what you can manage in between. For occasional help, choose a one-time session. Read the minimum-session conditions before choosing a recurring plan.

The checklist covers tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, rubbish removal and bed making. Check the full checklist and discuss your priorities. Appliance interiors and specialist cleaning should be confirmed separately.

The options on this page run to 4.5 hours, and checkout also offers longer sessions up to six hours. For example, choosing 3.5 hours adds one hour to the minimum; it does not guarantee a particular number of rooms.
